Command Drawer
Overview
Context-aware command snippets for people who administer things. Plain text, synced with your browser profile. Not a secret store.
Command Drawer keeps the short strings you retype all day, one click away, on the site where you need them. Tenant IDs. Graph queries. PowerShell one-liners. KQL fragments. Connection commands. Portal deep links. Put them in folders, map each folder to the sites it belongs to, and the drawer opens on the right folder automatically. Click a snippet to copy it. That is the whole idea. BUILT FOR ADMINS • Folders with customizable URL patterns. Open the drawer on the Azure portal and your Azure folder is already showing. Open it on the Exchange admin center and you get Exchange. Patterns use the same match syntax as the browser, and more specific patterns win. • Sub-folders. Keep Exchange Online under Microsoft 365, or per-customer folders under a client. • Right-click menu. Snippets appear in the page context menu, filtered to the folders that match the page. Pick one inside a text field and it is pasted at the cursor. • Keyboard first. The search box is focused the moment the drawer opens. Type to filter every folder at once, arrow keys to move, Enter to copy and close. • Usage-aware sorting. Manual order, most used, or recently used, per folder or as a default. • Per-tab memory. Pick a folder by hand and that tab keeps it for that site. New tabs start fresh. NOTHING TO SET UP, NOTHING TO TRUST • No account, no server, no telemetry. The extension makes zero network requests. • Snippets sync through your browser profile, the same way your bookmarks do. Sign in on another machine and they are there. • JSON export and import for backups and for sharing/transfering a folder set • Minimal permissions. No host permissions and no content scripts. The extension never reads a page. NOT A PASSWORD MANAGER Values are stored and shown in plain text, always. There is no masking, no reveal button and no encryption. Use a real password manager for secrets. Use Command Drawer for an organized clipboard. OPEN SOURCE Licensed under GPL-3.0-or-later.
