Item media 1 (screenshot) for PNGuin

Overview

Slide through webpages and snag high-res PNGs.

PNGuin adds two screenshot options to your right-click menu — no toolbar icon, no popups, no setup required. *Just the Tip (Visible)* Captures exactly what's on screen at the moment you right-click. Instant, pixel-perfect, and saved directly to your Downloads folder as a PNG. *The Whole Iceberg (Full Page)* Captures the entire scrollable page — not just what's visible — in a single PNG. No scrolling, no stitching, no manual cropping. *How it works* Right-click anywhere on a page → PNGuin → pick your shot. The file lands in your Downloads folder, timestamped and ready to use. *Privacy* PNGuin collects no data whatsoever. No browsing history, no page content, no analytics. Everything happens locally on your machine. The extension makes zero network requests. *About the debugger permission* Full-page capture requires Chrome's debugger API — it's the only way to measure the full document height and capture beyond the visible viewport. The debugger session is opened immediately before the screenshot and closed immediately after. No page content is read, stored, or transmitted at any point. See pnguin.dev/privacy.html for the full policy. *Open source* The full source code is available on GitHub. Nothing hidden.
