Stillwater watches the parts of web pages that matter to your work — a supplier's price list, a competitor's plans page, a tender board, a stock level, a notice page — and tells you calmly when they change. Or when it can't check them. PICK EXACTLY WHAT TO WATCH Open the page, click the Stillwater icon, choose "Watch something on this page" and click the part you care about. Widen the selection with one click, or watch the whole page. Stillwater only ever looks at that part. NO FALSE ALARMS • Dates, times and "5 minutes ago" are ignored automatically (switch this off per monitor when a date is what you're watching, such as a deadline). • A change must be seen on two checks in a row before you're alerted, so one-off flickers and half-loaded pages never ping you. • Pro adds rules to ignore numbers (view counters, stock counts), capitalisation and any text pattern you choose. NEVER A SILENT FAILURE If a page errors, times out, gets redesigned so your chosen part disappears, or Stillwater loses access, the monitor turns red straight away, the toolbar shows "!", and you get one notification. Stillwater keeps retrying and tells you when it's working again. You will never wonder whether "no news" means "no change". SEE EXACTLY WHAT CHANGED Every change is kept with a clear before-and-after: removed text struck through, new text highlighted. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Checks run from your own computer while Chrome is open. Nothing you watch is sent to us — we don't have a server that could receive it. • No account. No analytics.
