X (Twitter) Web API
Overview
Use Twitter API on any website, without ads, tracking, and data collection.
Twitter Web API is a free, secure, and reliable alternative to Twitter's data interface, specifically designed to serve regular websites and creative projects. As a cost-free replacement for the X v2 API, this browser extension enables developers to access Twitter data without the burden of expensive API fees. Key features include retrieving user profile information, tweet lists, user replies, liked tweets, and other data, along with interaction analysis capabilities to understand social network relationships. The extension prioritizes data security and privacy protection, following an open-source transparent design philosophy with simple, user-friendly interfaces for quick developer onboarding. The extension supports rate limiting protection mechanisms, returning relevant headers to ensure service stability. Currently optimized for Chrome browser with plans to expand to other browser platforms. All functionality is provided completely free of charge, aimed at lowering technical barriers for creative projects and fostering innovation within the developer community. Please comply with Twitter's usage policies and use only for legitimate purposes. Websites requiring this API must apply for approval through the GitHub project. The project uses the GPLv3 open-source license and welcomes community contributions and feedback.
