LinkClean – Remove Tracking from Links

Removes tracking parameters from links before pages load and copies clean links in one click. Works locally, collects no data.

LinkClean keeps the links you open and share free of tracking tags: the extra parameters that ad and newsletter tools attach to web addresses, such as utm_source. • Automatic cleaning: more than 40 known tracking parameters are stripped from the address before the page loads. LinkClean uses Chrome's built-in declarativeNetRequest rules, so no scripts run inside web pages. • Copy clean link: one click in the toolbar copies the current address without the tracking tags, ready for chats and e-mails. • Real destination: if the current address is a redirect link from a large search engine or social network, "Copy clean link" copies the page it points to instead. • Pause on this site: one click turns cleaning off on a site that needs its parameters. Common sign-in pages, Google Docs and Gmail are skipped by default. • Badge and counter: the toolbar badge shows how often the current tab was cleaned, and the popup counts the clean links you have copied. • Light and dark mode, English and German. Privacy: no account, no analytics, no servers. LinkClean makes no network requests of its own and collects no data.
