Intercall: Live Captions & Translator for Meetings

Live captions and translation for browser audio, with adjustable subtitles and two-way translation.

Follow browser audio with live captions and translation. Intercall displays a caption overlay on the tab you choose. Use it to follow conversations, understand spoken content in another language, or practice listening while reading along. Features: • Live captions for audio playing in your selected tab. • Two-way translation with your selected language pair. • Side-by-side or line-by-line transcript layouts. • Adjustable text size, theme, and overlay opacity. • Optional context to help recognize names and specialized terms. • Toolbar controls and the Alt+Shift+C keyboard shortcut to start or stop captions. Getting started: Sign in to your Intercall account, connect the extension, choose your languages, and select Start captions. Audio is sent to our speech service for transcription and translation. An internet connection and available Intercall usage allowance are required. Audio and privacy: During a caption session, Intercall also attempts to save tab audio, microphone audio, and the resulting transcript to your account. Chrome asks for microphone permission; captions can continue if permission is declined. Captured audio and transcripts are stored locally while pending synchronization and uploaded to private account storage. Microphone audio is used for the saved archive, not the live tab captions. Use Stop captions to end capture. The extension does not capture screen video or audio from unselected tabs. Pending archive uploads may finish after the session stops.
