JSON Pro Tools
Overview
Format, validate, transform and manage JSON directly in your browser.
JSON Pro Tools is a fast, private JSON toolkit in your browser toolbar. Paste text, open a file or drag one in to format, check, explore and convert JSON without leaving the page you are on. Everything happens on your device. Your JSON is never uploaded, and the extension makes no network requests. What you can do • Format messy JSON with your preferred indentation, or compress it to a single line. Large numbers are kept exactly as written. • Check whether a document is valid and see exactly where a mistake is, with a short explanation of how to fix it. • Browse a document as a collapsible tree and copy the path of any value. • Convert JSON into ready-to-use code or a spreadsheet-friendly file. When a document cannot be converted correctly, you get a clear message instead of incorrect output. • Select JSON on any page and use the right-click menu to format it, check it or copy it formatted. • Open the popup with a keyboard shortcut you can change in Chrome. • Reopen recent documents from a local history that you can turn off or clear at any time. • Pick a light, dark or system theme. Privacy JSON Pro Tools works offline. It has no analytics, ads or tracking and does not collect personal data. Your settings and optional history stay on your computer, and the extension does not ask for access to the websites you visit. Support Questions or problems? Use the Support tab on this page. Please remove private data from any sample you share.
