Overview

Highlight and annotate any webpage, save text with its source, add notes and sticky notes, and organize your research.

Highlight text on any webpage in four colors, add notes and sticky notes, and find everything again in one tidy library. Your highlights stay on the page when you come back, and your data stays in your browser. HIGHLIGHT IN ONE CLICK Select text and pick a color. The passage is saved with its source and stays highlighted every time you return to the page. Prefer the keyboard? Press Alt+Shift+H (Option+Shift+H on Mac), or right-click and choose "Highlight and save". EVERYTHING FOR THIS PAGE IN A SIDE PANEL Click the toolbar icon to open a side panel next to the article. See every highlight on the current page, jump to any of them, change colors, add notes, copy or delete, without leaving what you're reading. STICKY NOTES RIGHT ON THE PAGE Leave ideas, questions and reminders exactly where they belong. Sticky notes stay attached to the paragraph you placed them on. A LIBRARY THAT TAKES YOU BACK Organize highlights and saved pages into folders, mark favorites, search across text, notes and sources, and open any item right at the original passage. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS Highlights, notes and pages are stored locally in your Chrome, not on our servers. Export everything to Markdown, CSV or JSON at any time, or make a full backup and restore it on another computer.
