PLATFORM SUPPORT The four video services named in the title are Moyu's primary supported experience. A video must provide usable Chinese subtitles, and some tools—such as a complete transcript or skipping long pauses—depend on whether that site's player exposes a full timed subtitle track. Netflix compatibility is limited: Moyu can work with the Chinese subtitle currently selected and visibly rendered by the player, but it cannot preload a complete episode transcript. Youku compatibility is experimental and depends on Moyu detecting a usable subtitle track in the current regional player. These sites can change their players without notice, so availability may vary by video, account, and region. FREE AND PRO FEATURES Interactive subtitles and local dictionary lookup are free. You may connect a Moyu account to save words and synchronize supported preferences with the mobile app. AI line explanations, advanced learning-status controls, and some connected learning features require an active Moyu Pro subscription purchased separately through the Moyu mobile app. The extension does not process payments. PRIVACY Caption reading, dictionary lookup, and ordinary viewing activity stay in your browser by default. Moyu requests access only to its supported video sites and Moyu-owned services—not every website you visit. If you explicitly request an AI explanation, the relevant caption context is sent to Moyu to generate that explanation. If you connect an account, Firebase handles sign-in and Moyu synchronizes the learning data needed for connected features.
