Overview

Shows a visible popup when a Veyage Beacon call arrives.

Veyage Beacon Call Alerts is a companion extension for agents using the Veyage Beacon web softphone at beacon.veyage.io. Browsers deliberately prevent a background tab from pulling itself to the front. That means an incoming call can ring in a tab you cannot see, behind whatever you are working on. This extension closes that gap. When a call arrives, a compact alert window appears in front of your current window showing who is calling: • Answer — accepts the call and brings the softphone tab forward • Open Beacon — switches to the softphone tab without answering • Dismiss — closes the alert and leaves your current work untouched The alert never changes tabs on its own, and it closes by itself when ringing stops. The extension runs only on beacon.veyage.io. It reads no page content beyond the incoming-call signal, stores no call history, and sends nothing to any server. All of its code ships inside the extension package. Requires a Veyage Beacon account. This extension adds alerts to that service; it is not a standalone phone.
