How AiLancerX Works AiLancerX is a productivity assistant that operates directly inside Upwork, appearing on supported pages such as job listings, proposal screens, freelancer profiles, and message threads. The extension is restricted to supported domains (upwork.com and ailancerx.com) as defined in its manifest permissions. When you choose to use features such as “Analyze Job,” “Generate Proposal,” or “Draft Reply,” the extension accesses specific page elements that are already visible to you — including job descriptions, client information, and message content — and securely transmits that data to AiLancerX’s backend for AI processing. All analysis is strictly user-initiated. The extension does not run in the background, monitor unrelated browsing activity, or collect browsing history. No proposals are submitted and no messages are sent on your behalf. Every action on Upwork requires your explicit review and manual confirmation. Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS and is processed solely to generate the output you requested. Your data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train AI models.
