Turn posts on X into video or GIF reactions, with a hand-drawn runner moving around the words. Preview, then add to a draft.

PlayTweet creates animated video and GIF reactions from posts on X. A hand-drawn character runs, climbs, jumps and swings around the selected post's actual text. Choose Respect, Congrats, Love it, Agree, Disagree or Let's connect! Celebrate a launch, recognize someone's work or respond to a point in the conversation. Your reaction appears in a black 16:9 frame. The clip keeps the author's photo, display name and handle. Long text continues in parts of the same fixed-size clip. Each clip includes playtweet.com at the bottom. HOW IT WORKS 1. Select a text post in your X feed. 2. Choose a reaction and preview it. 3. Keep Video selected or switch to GIF. 4. Choose Insert for a reply or Quote for a quote draft. 5. Review the attachment and post in X when you're ready. The compact controls sit beside the selected post, keeping neighboring posts visible. LOCAL CREATION AND DATA Video and GIF creation runs locally in your browser. No AI account, credits or API key is required. PlayTweet reads the selected post's text, public author identity and photo, and visible layout to create the reaction. It does not send posts or generated media to a PlayTweet server. Author photos may load from X's image service. Temporary generation data stays in memory; the extension has no persistent storage, account database, advertising or analytics. Choosing Insert or Quote hands the media to X's composer. X may upload it while preparing the draft, before you publish. You review and post in X. FORMATS AND CURRENT LIMITS Keep the tab visible while recording. MP4 export depends on browser support. A WebM fallback is download-only and needs conversion before attaching to X.
