Sort, shuffle, lock and clean up your Spotify playlists — exactly the way you want them. Playlist Maestro is a fast, no-fuss tool for reordering your own Spotify playlists. Pick a mode, preview the result, then save it back to Spotify with one click. Nothing changes until you press Save, and a built-in safety check makes sure ONLY the order changes — songs are never added or removed. SORT - By date added (newest or oldest first) - By release date (newest or oldest first) - Artist A–Z, Album A–Z, Title A–Z / Z–A - Popularity (high or low first) - Duration (short or long first) SHUFFLE - Smart Shuffle: a random order that spreads artists out, so the same artist never plays twice in a row and the playlist flows nicely - Classic fully random shuffle SONG LOCK - Lock the first N songs (for example the first 20), or lock individual songs, so they keep their exact position while everything else gets reordered CLEAN UP - Find and remove duplicate songs: jump straight to them, delete single copies, or remove all duplicates at once INSIGHTS - Playlist health score (0–100) based on diversity, flow, freshness and balance - A popularity rating next to every song - Optional on-page panel on open.spotify.com: score trend, artist count, average popularity, explicit share, total length, decade breakdown, top artists with follower counts and genres - Optional artist-page panel: rating, followers and genres, shown right on the artist page SAFE BY DESIGN - Live preview before you save anything - One-click Undo to restore the previous order - Save only ever reorders — it never adds or removes tracks LANGUAGES - Available in 8 languages (English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish) with a flag picker HOW IT WORKS Playlist Maestro signs you in with Spotify's official secure login (OAuth). The extension never sees or stores your password. It only works on playlists you own or are allowed to edit. PRIVACY Your login stays on your own device.
