Save your favourite streams and play them in a compact mini player. The toolbar icon shows how many are playing.

The streams you listen to while you work are scattered across bookmarks and tabs: a radio station here, a live channel there, a playlist you keep meaning to save. Playfull by URLflows keeps them in one list, plays any of them with one click, and shows on the toolbar icon how many are playing. HOW IT WORKS 1. Save a stream in Settings → Library: paste any address, from a radio station's live stream to a streaming site, a podcast or a direct audio or video file. 2. Click the toolbar icon and press Play. Audio plays right there, with no window, and keeps playing after the panel closes. 3. Want to see it? Pop it out into a small player window with no address bar or tabs, or into a normal tab. 4. The number on the toolbar icon shows how many things are playing, so a forgotten stream never plays on unnoticed. A HUNDRED STATIONS TO START WITH A fresh install comes with 100 live stations, each checked in October 2026 and sorted into twelve categories, from public radio and jazz to classical, world music and lo-fi. Music, culture and public radio only, with no talk, opinion or political stations. Two start switched on; switch on the ones you like, delete the rest, and put any back later from Suggested streams. THE TOOLBAR PANEL - Now playing: pause and play, mute, show, pop out or close each stream, or close them all at once. - Your enabled streams, in your own order (drag them into place) or most recently played first. - A pop-out button that opens the panel in its own small window, which reopens where you left it. THE MINI PLAYER - Common audio and video files and live streams play in Playfull's own player, with picture in picture for video. - Any other address opens as the page itself in the compact player window. - Choose where each stream plays, or let Playfull decide from the address. - Small, medium or large; player windows reopen where and at the size you left them. - Several players can run at once; playing one that is already open brings it to the front. OTHER TABS (OPTIONAL, OFF BY DEFAULT) Turn on Other tabs to list every other tab playing sound in the toolbar panel too, with pause and play, mute, show, save to your streams and close for each. Chrome asks once for permission to read your tabs, and turning the feature off gives that permission back. Pausing and playing a web page's own player needs that site's permission, which Chrome asks for the first time you press pause or play there; Settings lists every site you've allowed, each removable. SETTINGS A settings page with a search box (press / to jump to it) that finds any setting. A first install opens it at Getting started. - Library: add, rename, reorder, enable, disable and delete streams, filter by category, and bring back the suggested stations. - Mini player: window or tab, player size, and whether files start straight away. - Toolbar badge: show the playing count, and whether other tabs playing sound count too. - Other tabs: the tab listing and the sites allowed pause and play. - Appearance: Dark or Light. - Backup & restore: export your streams and settings to one JSON file, and import it again on this machine or another. - Resets: reset any area on its own, or everything at once. - About: the version, what the extension can access, and the other URLflows extensions. PRIVACY Nothing about you leaves your computer. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics and no tracking. Your streams and settings are saved in Chrome's local storage on your own machine. The only network traffic is the streams you choose to play, fetched straight from their own sites. The extension runs nothing on the sites you visit unless you allow pause and play on that site, and then only to pause or resume its audio and video.
