Control YouTube playback from local AI agents and MCP-compatible tools like Claude Code, Codex, etc.

Playback MCP bridges your agents and MCP clients to your normal browser for controlling YouTube playback. It pairs with a npm package of the same name. HOW IT WORKS The extension connects to a local broker daemon. When you run agents with the playback-mcp server, agents gain full control over video playback: play, pause, seek, adjust speed and volume, loop sections, and search transcripts.
