PlayAndPatch New Tab turns every new tab into the PlayAndPatch start page: an animated scene, gaming news and countdowns, and a quick web search. On every new tab: • Seven animated scenes (Steppe camp, Campfire, Forest inn, Mountain trail, Deep halls, Fire bridge and Platformer), each in dark, light and pink themes, with its own lo-fi music • The latest and the most read gaming news from PlayAndPatch • The next releases and the most awaited games, with live countdowns to release day • A search box that searches with your default search engine, and an "Ask ChatGPT" button • Small tools: the scene's colour palette, quick copy (symbols, Turkish letters, gaming emotes and your own texts) and a note • Downloads of the scene as a 1920×1080 picture and of its music as MP3 The page loads from playandpatch.com, so it stays up to date without extension updates. If the site can't be reached, the new tab still shows a search box. Privacy: the extension collects no data. Its only permission is "search", which hands your searches to Chrome's default search engine. "Ask ChatGPT" opens your question on chatgpt.com. Your notes and saved texts stay in your browser.
