Stop guessing if a PlayStation Store sale is any good. PlatPrices puts the price history, the all-time low and a clear buy-or-wait verdict on every PS5 and PS4 game, right on store.playstation.com. Free, and it works the moment you install it: no account needed. WHAT YOU GET Price history on every game page. Open any game and a card appears under the price with a chart of how that price has moved, the all-time low marked, and a clear verdict: lowest price ever, close to it, or a discount that has been beaten before. Buy now or wait. A one-line recommendation from the game's sale history, with an estimate of when the next sale usually comes. When a sale is running, you see when it ends. One click from the toolbar. On any game page the PlatPrices button shows the verdict, the price and discount, when the sale ends, the price history chart and the platinum effort (difficulty and hours), plus "Watch for price drops". Deal ratings while you browse. On category, deals and search pages, discounted games get a small badge: Lowest price ever, Near all-time low or Was cheaper before. You see at a glance which sales are worth it. A filter for the store grid. Hide or dim the games you already own, or show only games on sale or near their lowest price. Prices on your PlayStation wishlist (optional). Turn it on in Get started and your wishlist at library.playstation.com shows each game's verdict, a small price chart and the totals of your list: what it costs now, what it would cost at every game's lowest price, and how much you could save by waiting. No account needed. Trophies. The full trophy list with rarity, plus difficulty and hours to platinum where known. Link your PSN account on PlatPrices and the trophies you have earned are marked, with your progress. Editions and add-ons. The other editions and add-ons of the game, with their prices, in one list. Watchlist with alerts. Watch any game from the toolbar popup, set a target price if you like, and get a notification when the price drops. Quick search. Select a game's name on any page and right-click "Search PlatPrices", or type "pp" and a name in the address bar. WITH A FREE PLATPRICES ACCOUNT Connect your free platprices.com account in the extension settings and the store knows your library: games you already own get an Owned badge (no more buying something you already bought in 2022), games on your PlatPrices wishlist are marked, the grid filter can hide what you own, your earned trophies show on every game page, and you get a higher request limit. Optional PlayStation sync: after you tick a consent box and choose Sync now, the extension reads your own purchased games, order history and wishlist from PlayStation with your existing browser session and sends PlatPrices only the product IDs. Never your password or cookies. HOW IT WORKS Without an account the extension uses a guest key of its own, issued by platprices.com for this install and linked to no one. It sends requests only to platprices.com: the ID of the PlayStation Store game page you open, to look up its price, and the text you choose to search. It reads the PlayStation Store pages you open, and the optional PlayStation pages above only after you turn them on. Your key and settings stay in your browser.
