Overview

See what you keep after platform fees on the gig, creator and marketplace sites you earn from. Free, no signup, no logins.

How much do you actually keep from Uber, DoorDash, or YouTube — after fees, after the platform's cut, before taxes even come into it? PlatformTaxHub Earnings Assistant is a small, quiet helper for people who earn from multiple platforms and don't have one place to see what they actually keep. When you visit a supported platform, a single card appears in the corner of the page with one free calculator relevant to what you're doing there — nothing more, and nothing you have to go looking for. If you have income from more than one platform, you already know the problem: every platform pays differently, on a different schedule, after a different cut, and none of them show you one honest number. Most people only find out what they actually kept after fees, platform cuts, and taxes once tax season arrives — by which point it's too late to plan around it. This extension puts that number in front of you while you're still earning, not four months later. HOW IT WORKS The extension detects which supported platform you're currently on — that's the only thing it reads. It never looks at your account, your orders, your earnings history, or anything else on the page. Based on the platform (and, optionally, a role you set once), it shows one relevant free tool from platformincome.com. If you're driving or delivering for a living, the widget usually leads with the Mileage Deduction Calculator once you've told it you're a Gig Worker, since mileage is typically the single biggest deduction a driver has. Before that, it defaults to a Take-Home Pay Calculator or Platform Payout Calendar for whichever platform you're on. If you're a creator, freelancer, or seller, it defaults to the Take-Home Pay Calculator, showing exactly what you keep after that platform's cut. On platforms where payout timing is the more common question — "the app shows one number, my bank shows another" — it leads with the Platform Payout Calendar instead. On a few platforms where people genuinely compare two services before deciding where to list or drive, the widget leads with a head-to-head fee comparison, so you can see which one actually keeps more of your money before you choose. Every tool it suggests is free to use, with no signup required. If you click through two of them, the widget assumes you're getting real value and offers one upgrade path — a 7-day free trial of Income Tracker, which keeps these numbers updated automatically across everywhere you earn instead of checking manually. You're never charged without actively starting that trial yourself, and the free tools keep working with or without it. SET YOUR ROLE (OPTIONAL) Click the toolbar icon once to tell the extension what kind of work you do: Creator, Freelancer, Gig Worker, Ecommerce Seller, or Digital Product Seller. This is entirely optional — the widget works with a sensible default for each platform even if you skip it — but it lets the suggestion be a little more specific to your situation. This choice is stored only on your own device and is never tied to your name, email, or any account. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO - Doesn't read anything on the page you're viewing — no scraping of your orders, earnings, messages, or account details - Doesn't touch your account on any supported platform in any way — no login, no API access, no permissions beyond seeing which supported site you're on - Doesn't track you anywhere else on the web — it only activates on its supported domains - Doesn't require you to create an account or sign in to use any of the free tools it suggests - Doesn't show ads or sell your data to anyone PRIVACY, PLAINLY The only information this extension ever sends is: which supported platform you were on, which free tool it suggested, whether you clicked it, and the role you picked (if any) — all tied to a random, anonymous ID generated when you install the extension, never to your name, email, or any account. Nothing about the actual page content, your activity on that platform, or your identity is ever collected. Full details are in the privacy policy: https://platformtaxhub.com/legal/privacy-policy FREQUENTLY ASKED How much do I actually keep from Uber? Less than your gross fare — Uber's service fee can run 20-25% or more before you even factor in mileage deductions that lower your real tax bill. The free Uber Take-Home Pay Calculator this extension links to shows your actual number instead of a guess. When does DoorDash actually pay me? DoorDash's weekly pay period ends Sunday, but Direct Deposit doesn't start processing until Monday and takes 2-3 more days to land — which is why Wednesday, not Monday, is payday for most Dashers. The Platform Payout Calendar this extension links to lines this up exactly for your dash date and payout method (weekly deposit, Fast Pay, or DasherDirect/Crimson). What does YouTube take from creators? YouTube's revenue share leaves creators with less than half their gross ad revenue once the platform's cut is applied — the exact percentage depends on content type and monetization method. The Take-Home Pay Calculator this extension links to shows your real number. Do I need a mileage log for rideshare or delivery taxes? Yes — the IRS requires contemporaneous mileage records, not a number reconstructed at year-end, and most drivers miss 30-50% of their deductible miles by only tracking passenger/order miles instead of miles driven between them. The Mileage Deduction Calculator this extension links to estimates what that's actually worth. Does this need access to my account on these platforms? No. It only ever checks which website you're on — never anything inside your account. Will it slow down these sites? No — it's a single lightweight card that appears after the page has already finished loading. Can I turn it off for a specific site or dismiss it? Yes, the card has a close button, and it won't reappear again for that page visit. Is the 7-day trial required to use the calculators? No — every calculator this extension points you to is free and usable with no signup. The trial is an optional next step only shown after you've clicked through a couple of the free tools. Which platforms are supported? 17 major platforms today, spanning ride-hail and delivery, creator and content platforms, and marketplaces — including Uber, DoorDash, and YouTube. The full current list is shown right in the extension's own popup after you install it. More are added as PlatformTaxHub's free tool library grows — no reinstall needed, it ships as an update to this same extension. Why does it show a different tool on different platforms? Because "what you actually keep" means something different depending on where you earn — a driver cares about mileage, a creator cares about revenue share, someone deciding between two platforms cares about a fee comparison. One tool for every platform would mean the wrong answer most of the time, so the extension picks the one that actually matches what you're doing. PlatformTaxHub also has free calculators covering fee comparisons between platforms, mileage deductions, and payout timing for dozens of gig, delivery, creator, and marketplace platforms at platformincome.com — this extension is simply a way to see the one that's relevant to you without having to go looking for it.
