Liners, lids, bottles, wrappers, the plastic in a water path. Lawsuits and recalls CPSC recalls, filed class actions, regulatory action, and what the outcome actually was rather than what a headline claimed. Independent tests Published lab results and third party certifications. PFAS and organic fluorine screens, heavy metals, EWG Verified, MADE SAFE, GOTS, NSF. WHAT YOU SEE Skip, Careful or Good choice on every search result, so you can scan a page of twenty products without opening any of them. On a product page, the specific finding behind the verdict, with the body that published it and the year. Not a score out of ten. Where a brand is one you should skip, the card names a researched alternative and links to the full guide, so you leave with something to buy rather than just something to avoid. Verdicts are per product where a range genuinely splits. A brand can be a caution overall while one of its lines is a pick, and the card says which.
