Overview
Voltage drop, cable size, motor current, NPSH, bolt torque, OEE and 24 more plant engineering calculators. Offline, no sign-up.
Plant engineering calculators that work offline. Thirty calculators run inside the extension and give the same answers as the calculators on plantaxiom.com, because they use the same calculation code. WHAT IS INSIDE • Electrical design: voltage drop to IEC 60364-5-52, cable sizing, motor current, power factor correction and transformer sizing • Pumps and fluids: pump power, affinity laws, NPSH available, pipe pressure drop and valve Cv • Instrumentation: 4–20 mA scaling, RTD tables and PID tuning • Mechanical and heat: bolt torque, bearing life, belt drives, heat duty and steam pipe sizing • Plant performance: OEE, MTBF and availability, tank volume and PERT estimates EVERY RESULT SHOWS ITS METHOD Each calculator shows the formula, the standard it follows and the assumptions behind the number, so you can check it or put it in a report. FAST TO USE • Search the list by name • Star the calculators you use; recent ones stay at the top • Your last inputs are remembered for each calculator • Copy the result, or open the calculator in a full tab and print it as PDF • In the address bar, type "pa", a space and a calculator name • Select text on a page, right-click and choose Search PlantAxiom
