Planpace
Overview
Planpace: local Cursor plan burn alerts. No server or cookie paste. Not affiliated with Cursor.
Planpace is an unofficial, local-only Chrome extension that helps you watch your own Cursor usage and get notified before you burn through included allowance or lean too hard on expensive models. WHAT IT DOES • Reads your Cursor dashboard usage data while you are already signed in at cursor.com • Shows plan / pool meters, burn pace, model mix, and a preflight checklist in the popup • Optional system notifications when thresholds you configure are crossed • Snooze, soft daily budget, badge modes, and settings presets PRIVACY • No Planpace server — nothing is uploaded to the developer • No analytics or advertising SDKs • Does not read or store Cursor passwords or session cookie values • Stores usage summaries and your settings only in Chrome local storage on your device • Uninstalling removes Planpace’s local data HOW SYNC WORKS • A content script on cursor.com calls the same usage JSON endpoints your browser already uses • Periodic refresh while Chrome is running (alarms) • If you tap Refresh and no cursor.com tab is open, Planpace may open the Usage page in a background tab so sync can run IMPORTANT • Planpace is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Cursor or Anysphere • Cursor’s dashboard APIs are unofficial and may change; Planpace fails safely rather than inventing costs • Notifications require OS permission for Chrome banners License: MIT (open source)
