Planner for Connections
Overview
Drag color tags onto NYT Connections tiles to mark your guesses before submitting.
Plan your NYT Connections solve instead of keeping it all in your head. Planner for Connections adds a small draggable palette next to the puzzle board. Drag a yellow, green, blue, or purple chip onto any word tile to mark it with a colored outline — your working theory of which group it belongs to. Going for purple first? Mark your candidates and see instantly when you have four. Features: • Drag-and-drop color tags on word tiles (yellow / green / blue / purple) • Tags are purely visual — they never select words or interact with the game itself • Drag the same color again (or the eraser chip) to untag a word • Tags follow the word through shuffles • Clear button to wipe all tags and rethink • Movable palette — drag the grip to park it wherever you like • No permissions, no accounts, no data collection; runs only on the Connections page Tags reset when you reload the page — by design, a fresh start for each session. This extension is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The New York Times.
