š PlanetGuard ā Companion Extension for Desktop App PlanetGuard is a browser extension that works together with the PlanetGuard desktop application to keep you safe from phishing websites and unsafe links. ā” How it works The PlanetGuard desktop app manages protection status (Active/Inactive). The extension displays your current protection status directly in the browser. When protection is Active, phishing websites are blocked in real-time. When protection is Inactive, browsing is not filtered. š Key Features Real-Time Blocking ā Prevents access to known phishing websites (requires desktop app). Desktop-Managed Protection ā Status is controlled by the PlanetGuard desktop application. Visual Status Indicator ā Extension popup shows whether protection is ON or OFF. Smart Alerts ā Clear warnings before visiting unsafe or suspicious pages. Lightweight & Efficient ā Runs silently without slowing down browsing. āØ Note This extension requires the PlanetGuard desktop application to function fully. Without the desktop app, the protection remains inactive, but the status indicator will still be visible in the extension popup.
