Print DPI Checker by Revectora
Overview
Right-click any image to check its print resolution (DPI) at common sizes, instantly. Runs in your browser, nothing uploaded.
Print DPI Checker lets you instantly check whether any image on the web has enough resolution to print sharp — no upload, no account, no waiting. Right-click any image on any website and choose “Check print resolution (DPI)”. A small overlay shows the image’s real pixel dimensions and the DPI it would print at across 6 common sizes: business card, 5×7, letter flyer, tabloid poster, 18×24 poster, and 24×36 large poster — each marked Pass, Warn or Fail so you know instantly if it’s print-ready. Why this matters: an image that looks perfectly sharp on screen can still turn out blurry or pixelated once printed, because screen resolution and print resolution are not the same thing. This is the single most common reason a flyer, poster or product photo comes back from the printer looking soft — and it’s avoidable if you catch it before you print. Everything runs locally in your browser. The extension makes no network requests and sends no data anywhere — it simply reads the image’s pixel dimensions and does the arithmetic.
