HisTree – History by Domain
Overview
Browse and clean up your Chrome history as a domain tree: sites, subdomains and pages, with batch delete.
HisTree replaces Chrome's flat, endless history list with a tree that follows the structure of the web: every site you visited, the subdomains under it, and the pages under each subdomain. See your history by site - Top level: the site itself (google.com, bbc.co.uk, github.io pages are treated as separate sites) - Next levels: each subdomain (docs.google.com, mail.google.com …) nested under its parent - Pages: listed under the exact host they belong to, with title, URL and last visit time - Every domain shows how many entries it contains and how many subdomains it has Clean up in bulk - Tick a domain to select everything under it, or pick individual pages - Partially selected domains are clearly marked - Delete everything you selected in one step, with a confirmation first Find things fast - Search across domains, page titles and URLs - Filter by time: last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or all time - Sort by most visited, most recent, most pages or name - Expand or collapse the whole tree with one click Built in, private by design - Opens automatically when you visit chrome://history (Ctrl/⌘+Y), or click the toolbar icon - Works entirely on your device. HisTree has no servers, no analytics and no network requests; your history never leaves your browser. - Available in English and Simplified Chinese, with light and dark mode
