Entra Admin Toolkit brings Microsoft Entra ID administration into a focused Chrome side panel. It helps identity, security and Microsoft 365 administrators find common tasks, investigate sign-in problems, prepare troubleshooting reports and manage privileged access. Key features Find administration pages and local tools through shared search with typo tolerance, aliases, pinned destinations and recent selected results. Review eligible and active Privileged Identity Management roles, then submit supported activation, extension and deactivation requests. Guided setup explains configuration requirements, with account and tenant context shown before role actions. Investigate AADSTS sign-in errors, decode JWT claims locally and recognise documented Microsoft application identifiers. JWT decoding does not validate a token’s signature. Prepare troubleshooting reports using diagnostic text, investigation notes and a reviewed screenshot. Carry an AADSTS investigation into a report and export the result for a support ticket. Organise saved administration pages, recent supported pages and local notes into tenant workspaces. Label environments and reuse existing admin tabs. Selecting a workspace does not change your Microsoft sign-in. Compare two imported Conditional Access policy exports to review changes to assignments, exclusions, grant controls and policy state. Build read-only Microsoft Graph PowerShell recipes with configurable parameters, visible prerequisites, required permissions and Table, JSON or CSV output. Scripts are prepared locally and are never executed by the extension. Review imported licence data with recognised product names, assigned and available capacity, and CSV export. Capture a visible tab, selected area or page element, then redact and annotate the image in the local screenshot editor. Open a new troubleshooting report with a flattened screenshot. Apply optional privacy masking to visible email addresses, GUIDs, tenant domains and custom terms. Always inspect the result before sharing: automatic masking cannot guarantee complete redaction. Export and import selected workspace configuration, including saved pages, preferences, tenant labels and reviewed recipe presets, without including authentication tokens, screenshots, tenant notes or activity history. Portal shortcuts and local troubleshooting tools work without connecting a Microsoft account. Conditional Access comparison and licence analysis use imported JSON files rather than live tenant queries. PIM setup Privileged Identity Management features require your own Microsoft Entra app registration, delegated permissions, tenant consent, eligible role assignments and appropriate licensing. Guided setup provides the installation’s redirect URI, permission information and connection checks. Privacy There is no advertising, telemetry or developer-operated backend. Microsoft authentication and PIM requests go directly to Microsoft services. Authentication tokens are held in Chrome session storage. Preferences, tenant labels, notes, favourites, recent supported pages and action history remain on the device. Screenshot editing, JWT decoding, AADSTS lookup, identifier analysis, report preparation and imported policy and licence analysis run locally.
