Inbox Sweep — Kanban Board for Gmail™
Overview
Sorts your Gmail into needs action, waiting on reply, worth reading and hidden. Runs entirely on your own computer.
Press one button and your inbox becomes four columns: NEEDS ACTION a real person has asked you for something WAITING ON REPLY you wrote last and nobody has come back to you WORTH READING real, but nothing to do HIDDEN marketing, newsletters, receipts, notifications Nothing is marked, moved, archived, deleted or replied to. Close the panel and Gmail is exactly as it was. It is a lens over your inbox, not a change to it. EVERYTHING RUNS ON YOUR COMPUTER Inbox Sweep uses Chrome's built-in AI model, which Chrome downloads and runs on your own machine. There is no server, no account, no API key, and no network request of any kind — the code contains no fetch, no XMLHttpRequest, no WebSocket, no sendBeacon. Your email cannot be sent anywhere because there is nowhere for it to go. Every other tool that does this reads your mail on somebody else's computer. IT LEARNS THE SENDERS YOU DO NOT WANT Some marketers are indistinguishable from real people: a human name, a normal domain, a subject line a colleague could have written. No pattern catches them. So hover any card and click "Hide sender" — that sender is gone for good, on your machine only. Change your mind and one click marks them permanently trusted, which overrides every rule in the extension. CHOOSE WHAT TO SWEEP This page · Unread · Last 7 days · Last 30 days. Each one runs the matching Gmail search and sorts the result, so Gmail does the filtering and you can see exactly what was covered. IT TELLS YOU WHEN IT BREAKS Gmail changes its layout without warning. When the extension detects that it can no longer read the message list reliably, it pauses and says so, rather than showing you a board full of nonsense. A tool that admits it is confused is worth more than one that quietly gets your inbox wrong. ALSO - Light, dark, or automatic — automatic follows Gmail's own theme, not your desktop, so a dark Gmail gets a dark panel - Colour-coded tags on the Gmail rows themselves, removed when you close - No team features, no settings screen, no upsell REQUIREMENTS Chrome 138 or later, and a computer that supports Chrome's built-in AI: roughly 22 GB free disk space, and either 4 GB of video memory or 16 GB of RAM with four or more cores. The extension tells you plainly if your machine does not qualify. The model downloads once, the first time you sweep. PRIVACY Your mail is read on your own device and never leaves it. Nothing is transmitted, sold or shared. No analytics, no tracking, no account. The only things saved are your hidden sender list and your theme choice, both in local browser storage on this computer.
