Keep your place while your hands make something good. StitchCounter brings a quiet, reliable knitting and crochet counter to your Chrome toolbar. Count stitches, rows, rounds and pattern repeats, with your progress saved locally between sessions. • Create separate projects and named counters. • Count with large buttons or the keyboard. • Set targets, adjust counting steps and keep pattern notes. • Correct mistakes with undo, redo and an undoable reset. • Open a larger counting view in its own tab. • Choose light, dark or system appearance. • Use the counting interface in English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese or Russian. • Export and import JSON backups compatible with stitchcounter.app. • Keep counting offline, without an account. While the counter view is focused, Space, + or the up arrow adds a step. The minus key or down arrow subtracts a step. Z undoes and Y redoes. Alt + Shift + S opens the extension; you can customize this shortcut in Chrome. The extension asks only for permission to save data in Chrome’s local extension storage. It does not read website content or browsing history, and it does not transmit project data. No ads, analytics or remotely loaded code are included. The website and extension store projects separately. Move your work between them by exporting a JSON backup and importing it into the other. Imports add copies and preserve existing projects. There is no automatic cloud synchronization. Export a backup before uninstalling the extension.
