Overview

See how a page will look when shared on Google, LinkedIn and WhatsApp - and which tag each field came from.

You wrote the meta tags. The card still looks wrong. Meta Preview tells you why. Click the toolbar icon on any page and Meta Preview reads that page's head tags and draws three previews side by side: - **Google** — favicon, site name, breadcrumb URL, blue title link and snippet, truncated the way a real result is, with an ellipsis so you can see exactly where the cut lands. - **LinkedIn** — the feed card: image on top, bold title, domain underneath. LinkedIn does not display og:description in the feed card, and this preview does not pretend otherwise. - **WhatsApp** — the compact chat preview: small square thumbnail, title, description, domain. Then it shows you the part no other tool does: **where each field actually came from.** Every platform walks its own ordered list of tags and takes the first one with a value. When a card looks wrong, it is nearly always because a field resolved further down that list than you thought. Meta Preview prints the resolution for every field on every surface — "Description ← og:description (meta description is missing)" — so the cause is visible instead of guessed. It also lists what is broken and what to do about it: a missing og:image, a title past the point where Google truncates, a description too short to be useful, a missing canonical, a noindex you did not mean to ship, a missing twitter:card, an og:url that disagrees with your canonical. Each one comes with a one-line fix. When you are ready to fix it, one button copies a paste-ready block of corrected head tags. Your existing values are carried through exactly as written — the extension never invents copy for you. Where a human has to write something, it leaves a TODO comment instead of filler. **It stores nothing.** No history, no list of pages you visited, no account, no server. The extension has no storage permission and no host permissions at all. It reads the page only on the click that opens the popup, keeps the result in the popup's memory, and loses it the moment the popup closes. Built for the person who has to explain to the client why the link preview shows the wrong headline.
