PiyaKaption — 클라우드 없이 내 컴퓨터에서 돌아가는 실시간 자막 영상에 자막이 없어도, 한국어가 아니어도 괜찮습니다. PiyaKaption은 재생 중인 영상의 오디오를 실시간으로 인식해 자막을 띄워줍니다 — 모든 처리가 내 기기의 GPU/CPU에서 로컬로 이루어집니다. ◆ 주요 기능 • 실시간 자막: 영상 오디오를 Whisper AI로 즉시 인식해 자막 오버레이 • 로컬 전용 처리: 캡처된 오디오는 절대 서버로 전송되지 않습니다 • 한↔영 번역 자막: 한국어 원문 아래 영어 번역을 함께 표시 (또는 번역만) • 다양한 백엔드: NVIDIA GPU 네이티브 가속(faster-whisper), 브라우저 WebGPU, WASM 자동 선택 • 자막 커스터마이즈: 원문/번역 위치·색상·폰트·크기·줄 수 개별 설정 • 자막 보내기: 세션 자막을 SRT/TXT 파일로 저장 • 언어 자동 감지: 브라우저·네이티브 경로 모두 음성 언어 자동 인식 • 한/영 UI 전환: 팝업에서 즉시 언어 전환 • 최초 실행 시 모델 다운로드 후 오프라인에서도 동작 ◆ 사용 방법 1. 확장을 설치하고 영상이 재생되는 탭을 엽니다 2. 툴바의 PiyaKaption 아이콘을 클릭해 자막을 켭니다 3. 최초 실행 시 인식 모델을 다운로드합니다 (한 번만, 이후 로컬 캐시 사용) ◆ 선택적 고성능 모드 NVIDIA GPU가 있다면 네이티브 호스트(faster-whisper + CUDA)를 설치해 더 빠르고 정확한 자막을 사용할 수 있습니다. 설치 방법은 확장의 고급 설정 페이지를 참고하세요. ◆ 프라이버시 PiyaKaption은 어떤 개인정보도 수집하지 않습니다. 오디오와 자막 텍스트는 메모리에서만 처리되고 즉시 폐기됩니다. 유일한 네트워크 통신은 첫 실행 시 Hugging Face에서의 모델 다운로드뿐입니다. 지원 사이트: YouTube, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, 그리고 대부분의 HTML5 비디오 페이지. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PiyaKaption — real-time captions that run entirely on your computer No captions on the video? Install the extension and open a tab playing a video 2. Click the PiyaKaption toolbar icon and turn on captions 3. On first run the recognition model downloads once, then it's cached locally ◆ Optional high-performance mode If you have an NVIDIA GPU, install the native host (faster-whisper + CUDA) for faster, more accurate captions. See the extension's options page. ◆ Privacy PiyaKaption collects no personal data. Audio and caption text are processed in memory only and discarded immediately. The only network traffic is the model download from Hugging Face on first run. Supported sites: YouTube, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and most pages with HTML5 video.
