Overview

Resize and convert PNG, JPEG and WebP images locally. Inspect the actual export, then download a new copy.

Less file. Same idea. PIXELPRESS is a focused, offline image finishing desk. Open one still image, choose its output size and format, inspect the encoded result, and download a new copy. Your source file is never overwritten by the application. Open a PNG, JPEG or WebP through the file picker or by dragging it into the workspace. Set width and height, keep the aspect ratio locked, or choose a quick percentage. Select PNG, JPEG or WebP output. Adjust quality for JPEG and WebP, or choose a background color when flattening transparency into JPEG. Original and Export preview let you compare the source with the actual encoded file. Fit shows the whole image; 100% uses one image pixel per CSS pixel and lets you scroll a large preview. The output byte count is measured from the generated file, not estimated. Some conversions increase file size, and the interface reports that honestly. Processing happens with local browser decoding and canvas encoding. No image is uploaded, no account is required, and there is no analytics or advertising service. The toolbar action opens the image desk in a separate tab; it does not replace New Tab or modify websites. Images and outputs stay in the current workspace only. Close, reload or clear the page to discard the active image. Optional remembered preferences contain only format, quality, background color and aspect-ratio preference. Uncheck remembering or use Reset settings to remove that preference record. Input limits: one file up to 25 MB, 32 megapixels and 16,384 pixels per side. Output limits: 8,192 pixels per side and 16 megapixels. Oversized input dimensions are initially fitted to the output limits. Animated PNG and animated WebP are rejected. GIF, SVG, HEIC, PDF, batch jobs, layered editing and archival color-profile preservation are not supported. Browser encoding can add output metadata; original EXIF and GPS fields are not copied by this canvas workflow. Sensitive content visible in pixels remains visible.
