Pixelion Inspector shows you which apps a Shopify store uses, right from your browser. Open any Shopify store (yours or a competitor's), click the Pixelion icon and you'll see: • Whether the site is a Shopify store, or if its storefront password is on. • The apps it loads: app blocks and app embeds, theme app extensions and app scripts, including the ones that load late. • A label for each app: – Replaces: the Pixelion theme does this out of the box, so you could uninstall the app. – Partial: the theme covers the main use; the app does extra things you may still need. – Stays · compatible: the theme doesn't do this, so the app stays and works with Pixelion just like today. • The cheapest paid plan of each app (Shopify App Store prices, with the date we checked them). • An estimate of how much you'd save per month by replacing those apps with theme features. • A link to the full report on pixelion.es to share it or get it by email. Private by design The extension only reads the page when you click its icon, and the analysis runs entirely in your browser. It collects no personal data, has no analytics and runs no remote code. The only network request it makes on its own is downloading our public app database from pixelion.es, at most once a day. Some apps can't be detected from outside (apps that only work in the Shopify admin or at checkout). The estimate is indicative.
