PitchShed is a pitch shifter, speed changer and A–B looper for musicians. Transpose a YouTube video into your key, slow it down without changing the pitch, and loop the hard part — right in the browser tab where it plays. Nothing to download, nothing to record, no account. KEY CHANGE Move any video or audio up or down by as many as 12 semitones, live. Fit a song to your own voice, or to the guitar in your hands. SPEED THAT KEEPS THE PITCH Slow a passage to 50 % or speed it up to 150 %, in 5 % steps. The pitch stays where it was. Speed control is free, with no time limit. A–B LOOP Press Set A where the hard part starts and Set B where it ends. PitchShed repeats the section until you stop it, and you can nudge either point by a tenth of a second. IT REMEMBERS EVERY SONG Key, speed and loop points are saved for each song on your device, up to 500 songs. Open the song next week, click the icon, and everything is back. HOW IT WORKS Open a page that plays a video or audio — a YouTube video, a backing track, a lesson — and click the PitchShed icon in that tab. It does not work on services that protect their audio with DRM, such as Spotify and Netflix. • Changing the key adds a small delay of about a tenth of a second to the sound. At key 0 nothing is added. • Videos inside embedded players on other pages are not supported in this version. • Your audio never leaves your browser.
