Pitch Please doesn't just slap an "invert" filter over the page. It recolours each element into a small, fixed palette — dark fills behind bright text — so colours stay sane and an already-dark colour is never pushed bright. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT • Real photos, video and embeds keep their true colours (optionally dimmed if they're too bright). • Already-dark sites are detected and left alone automatically — no fighting a site that already did its own dark theme. • QR codes and barcodes stay scannable — they keep a light quiet zone so your phone can still read them off the screen. • Toggle any site on or off with one tap, or the Alt+Shift+P shortcut. MAKE IT YOURS • Three distinct mood palettes: Sepia (warm, soft), Dracula (purple-on-charcoal), and Void (near-black with an electric-blue accent). • Edit any colour with an inline picker and a screen eyedropper, plus a per-mood contrast slider. One tap resets a mood back to default. • Optional schedule — go dark on a timer (e.g. 20:00 to 07:00, wraps past midnight) and watch open tabs update live. • Allow-list mode — turn off "dark new sites automatically" to only darken the sites you choose. • Master switch to pause everything instantly. QUIET BY DESIGN • No tracking, no analytics, no telemetry, no ads, no network requests. • Collects no personal data — the only thing stored is your own settings, which roam across your signed-in Chrome profiles. • Just two quiet permissions: storage (your settings) and alarms (the optional schedule).
