Easily pop out any video player into a PIP window.
Chrome 70 introduced the picture in picture (PIP) mode for HTML5 video players. This extension simply takes the functionality offered by Chrome and brings it to websites that don't support it directly. Using this extension you can use PIP on on e.g. these sites: - Netflix - Amazon Prime Video The extension is in an early stage right now. This looks like the original pop out video player - picture in picture. Open source too! however hasn't been updated since 2018 so there is some issue about activating on all sites. Works well for making a pop out video frame which stays on top of all browser windows. Resizeable and has pause. Doesn't have , back and forward controls (unlike the many copies on the webstore). No subtitles, none of the other youtube controls like fast forward, rewind, speed etc.

What's the point of this plugin? The people that like this extension seem to be unaware that there's ALREADY one currently built into chrome that offers some extras. It's worse than chrome/googles. You can at least juggle through video selection in googles/chrome by clicking the extension and you're not required to be on the particular tab you're wanting to view the video/PIP with. Offers zero video control(volume/forward/backward/ETC) outside of play/pause/close/back to tab. Even the sizing... Show more
