PiPlet
Overview
Toggle Picture-in-Picture on YouTube with a toolbar button or in-page pill.
PiPlet — Picture-in-Picture for YouTube Watch YouTube in a floating window while you do anything else on your computer. PiPlet adds a small "PiP" button to YouTube that pops the current video into a Picture-in-Picture window with one click. The video stays on top of every window — your browser, your code editor, your documents — so you never have to tab back and forth. Why install PiPlet? YouTube buries its native PiP option behind a double right-click. PiPlet puts it front and center: one click from the toolbar icon or the in-page button and the video floats free. What it does: - Adds a clean "PiP" pill button to YouTube watch pages - Toggle PiP from the toolbar icon on any YouTube tab - Automatically selects the right video and skips ads - Button updates to "Exit PiP" so you always know the current state - Hides itself in fullscreen so it never gets in the way What it doesn't do: - No data collection. No analytics. No account required. - No permissions beyond YouTube. Cannot read your browsing history or other sites. - No background activity when you're not on YouTube. Built for anyone who watches tutorials while coding, lectures while taking notes, or music videos while doing literally anything else.
