Pipestack Lead Importer
Overview
Import leads from Facebook into your Pipestack
Stop losing leads in the comments. If you grow your business on Facebook or Instagram, you know the pain: a post takes off, the comments explode, and the people raising their hand get buried in notifications. By the time you scroll back, you've lost track of who said what. Pipestack closes that gap. With one click, you can pull a single profile — or every commenter on a post — straight into your private Pipestack pipeline, ready for follow-up. What it does - One-click profile import — Visit any Facebook or Instagram profile and hit the floating + Add to Pipestack button. The lead lands in your pipeline with their name, profile URL, and avatar. - Bulk comment import — On Facebook posts and Instagram posts/reels, a blue Import leads into Pipestack bar appears under the post. Click it and Pipestack opens the comment thread, scrolls to load every commenter, and lets you select which ones to import. - Duplicate detection — Already imported someone? Pipestack flags them so you don't add the same lead twice. - Instagram DMs — Open a DM conversation, click the floating button, and the contact is saved as a lead. - Follow-up reminders — Imported leads slot directly into stages with optional follow-up dates, so nothing slips. - Multi-workspace ready — Built for Pipestack's white-label workspaces. Leads route to the correct workspace automatically. Why install it - Save hours of admin — No more copy-pasting names and profile URLs into a spreadsheet. - Never miss a hand-raiser — The people who comment "NEW" on your offer post end up in your pipeline, not your DMs graveyard. - One pipeline, every channel — Keep social leads alongside referrals, ads, and inbound — all in Pipestack. How to use - Sign in to your Pipestack account and generate an API key in Settings. - Click the Pipestack extension icon and paste in your API key. - On any Facebook or Instagram profile, post, or DM, the Pipestack button appears in-page. - Click it, choose the workspace and stage, and you're done. Privacy & data - You're in control — Pipestack only captures the data you explicitly choose to import. Nothing runs in the background, nothing is collected without a click. - Manual-trigger only — There is no automated crawling. Comment import only runs when you press the button on a post you're already viewing. - Public information only — Pipestack reads names, profile links, and avatars that are already visible to you on the page. - Encrypted sync — All data is sent over HTTPS to your Pipestack workspace and stored in your private account. ---- What's new v1.3.0 — 2026-05-18 - imports now capture the original post link and each commenter's actual comment text, so you can see where every lead came from and what they said. v1.2.2 — 2026-05-16 - fix: only pre-fill workspace input when one was actually saved v1.2.1 — 2026-05-16 - Added Test Connection diagnostic link in popup footer (calls new GET /api/auth/me, surfaces credential/workspace/network errors with actionable hints) - Fixed: workspace input was pre-filled with "www" on fresh install, causing "www<subdomain>" workspaces and silent import failures v1.2.0 — 2026-05-15 - Import group members in bulk from the People/Members tab — auto-scrolls the page, lets you pick who to add, and can be stopped at any time - Show the import bar on group posts you've reacted to and on posts by the group owner - Show the floating import button on member profiles viewed inside a group - Surface the real error message when an import fails, with a "contact support" link to your workspace v1.1.7 — 2026-05-14 - Improve support for Facebook groups and strip notification prefix from imported names - Use fresh profile name on click to avoid stale SPA state v1.1.6 — 2026-05-06 - Update extension icon v1.1.5 — 2026-05-05 - Catches more leads automatically. After scrolling through a post's comments, Pipestack now does a quick second pass to pick up commenters that loaded late. No extra clicks needed. - Prominent "Load more" button in the import panel replaces the tiny refresh icon, with a hint that comments are often loaded in batches — so it's clear you can re-scan if a count looks low. - Per-post Import leads bar now also appears on Facebook profile pages (your own and others'), not just the news feed. - Loading state with spinner on the + Add to Pipestack button so you know when a save is in flight. - More resilient against extension reloads — buttons no longer get stuck mid-action. v1.1.4 — 2026-05-05 - Floating button is now draggable; remembers its position across sessions. v1.1.3 — 2026-04-24 - More robust UI injection across Facebook and Instagram feeds, post modals, and reels. - Fixes for buttons disappearing after Facebook re-renders the page. v1.1.2 — 2026-04-17 - Instagram support: import from profiles, posts, and reels. - Spinner fix on the import panel. - Workspace selection persists across sessions. - Safer JSON error handling. v1.1.0 — 2026-04-16 - Bulk comment import on Instagram posts (modal opens automatically, comments auto-scroll to load all). v1.0.1 — 2026-04-15 - Configurable API server URL. - API key management and settings page. - Manual lead entry. - Duplicate prevention. - Follow-up dates. v1.0.0 — 2026-02-21 Initial release. Facebook profile import.
