Overview

A small companion who reminds you about lunch, water, and meetings — now with voice.

Meet Pip — a small companion who lives quietly in your browser and pops up only when it's time for something. Pip handles three things most of us forget during a busy workday: • Lunch — a single nudge each day, at the time you choose • Water — gentle reminders at the rhythm that works for you (30, 60, 90 minutes, or 2 hours) • Meetings — pops up before each one, with custom lead time QUIET BY DESIGN Pip stays completely hidden until a reminder fires. No icons floating on your screen, no constant presence in your peripheral vision. When it's time, Pip slides up from the corner with a friendly bubble and (optionally) speaks the reminder aloud. VOICE THAT FEELS NATURAL Toggle Pip's voice on and pick from any voice installed on your system. Volume and speed sliders let you tune it to your taste. A soft chime plays before each spoken reminder — gentle, never jarring. Voice automatically mutes when you pause Pip. PAUSE WHEN YOU'RE BUSY Heading into a meeting or focus block? Pause Pip for 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, or until tomorrow morning. Pip respects the pause completely — no notifications, no voice, nothing. RECURRING MEETINGS Add meetings once and choose how they repeat: one-time, daily, weekdays only, or custom day patterns (Mon-Wed-Fri, Tue-Thu, etc.). Set how many minutes ahead Pip should warn you — 1, 5, 10, or 15. EVERYTHING IN ONE GLANCE The popup has three tabs: • Today — your next reminder, count of water reminders so far, meetings left, lunch status • Settings — configure everything • History — see exactly what Pip has reminded you about today THREE MOODS Pip glows blue for water, golden for lunch, green for meetings. You'll know at a glance what's up before you even read the bubble. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Pip stores everything on your device using Chrome's local storage. Nothing is sent to any server. There is no account, no login, no telemetry. Your reminders are yours alone. HOW TO USE 1. Install Pip and walk through the welcome page. 2. Pin Pip's icon to your toolbar (click the puzzle piece in your toolbar, then the pin next to Pip). 3. Click the icon to open settings. 4. Turn on lunch and/or water, add any meetings. 5. Click Preview to see Pip pop up on the current tab. A NOTE ON PERMISSIONS Pip requests access to all websites so the character can be shown on whatever page you're currently viewing. Pip does not read, log, or transmit any page content — it only injects its own character and bubble. The code is unminified; you can inspect it yourself in your extensions folder. Made with care. Made to be ignored — until you need it.
