Overview
Annotate any web page, leave a review where there is no review box, and check whether a news story holds up — sources included.
The web has nowhere to put what you think. You jot it down somewhere else, you send it to a friend, you write it under a post nobody will ever connect back to that page — and a month later nothing is left. PINTRU keeps the thought attached to the thing that caused it. Open any page: a button appears at the top right. From there you pick one of three things that only look alike from a distance, and that PINTRU deliberately keeps apart. ━━━ NOTES — your private layer Reminders, markers, second thoughts, anchored to the exact spot on the page. Only you see them. You come back to a product page three weeks later and «ask about bulk pricing» is still where you left it. It is annotating web pages without copying anything into a notes app you will never reopen. ━━━ REVIEWS — an opinion even where there is no box for one A product page on a site with no reviews. A newspaper article. The page of a course, a service, a professional practice. PINTRU puts a review there: public, anchored to the right spot, readable by anyone who passes by after you. ━━━ FACT-CHECKING — whether what the article claims holds up Not whether you like the article. Ask for a check and PINTRU does two separate things: a language model isolates the checkable claims and goes looking for sources; our own code, separately, measures how the text is built — evaluative adjectives, intensifiers, vague attribution, figures with no source. Out comes a score from 0 to 100 with the arithmetic underneath, item by item: how many claims were corroborated, how many independent sources, which reasoning flaws, how neutral the language is. You open the sources one by one. If the page changes after the check, the result marks itself as no longer current. The wording says what we found, not what is true: «widely corroborated», «partly corroborated», «contradicted by sources», «not checkable». That distinction is the whole point, and we do not hide it. ⚠ The analysis is produced by an artificial intelligence system and every result says so at the top. It is not an official determination and does not bind the publisher of the page examined. ━━━ EVERY CHECK HAS A PUBLIC ADDRESS The result does not stay locked inside the extension: it lives on a page anyone can open, read and share without installing anything. Whoever gets the link sees the score, the arithmetic and the sources. ━━━ HOW IT WORKS 1. Open any page. A button appears at the top right. Always there, never in the way. 2. Pick the layer: note, review or check. 3. Write and save. The pin stays put and rearranges itself on every screen size. No sign-up to start: private notes work straight away. ━━━ PRIVACY To show you the pins of a page, PINTRU sends the address of the open page to our server: it is not kept in a list of visited pages and not linked to you. Page content is sent only when YOU ask for a check on that page, and only that once. Private notes stay private. We sell data to nobody. Full notice: https://pintru.com/en/legals/privacy.php ━━━ PLANS Free: up to 30 notes, public or private, plus 3 trial fact-checks. Premium: 100 notes, unlimited reviews, 20 fact-checks per month. Extra: 1000 notes, unlimited reviews, 50 fact-checks per month. Free plan users may see sponsored pins, always marked as such and the same for everyone. Current details at https://pintru.com
