Overview

Record any tab into your sample library — from the side panel

Pimp my Sample turns Chrome into a sampling workstation for music producers. Hit record on any tab and the audio lands in your library as a WAV — ready to work with in the built-in Studio: — One-tap recording from Chrome's side panel, with a live oscilloscope visual — Trim with draggable edges and fades, normalize, reverse, gain, DC removal — Chop mode: drag slices on the waveform, or auto-detect transients and slice to a beat grid (1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16) — Audition slices from your keyboard like pads (1–0, Q–P), with per-slice gain and reverse — Organize samples into folders, rename, tag keepers, chops stay grouped under their parent sample — Automatic BPM and key detection, shown right in the library — Mirror your whole library to a folder on your disk — your DAW sees every sample instantly, as plain WAV files — Undo protection: destructive edits keep a version history you can revert Everything runs and stays on your machine: no account, no upload, no tracking, no analytics. You choose what you record, and you are responsible for having the rights to the audio you capture. Keyboard-first: Space for transport, Cmd+Z undo, Cmd+S save, arrow-key nudging, full shortcut cheat-sheet built in.
