Overview

Pikt (trypikt.com) estimates which credit card in your wallet is likely to earn the most rewards at checkout. Never moves money.

Pikt Rewards is a credit card rewards optimizer for Chrome from trypikt.com. At checkout, Pikt estimates which card already in your wallet is likely to earn the most points, miles, or cash back, and shows the dollar difference. Other extensions estimate what you could save. Pikt confirms what you kept. Pikt is an online credit card rewards optimization tool: it compares the cards you already carry and estimates which card is likely to earn the most for a purchase. Issuers decide. You pay with your own card. Pikt Checkout shows the recommendation beside eligible checkout forms. Verification happens afterward, on trypikt.com, not inside the extension. The extension itself never connects to a bank. What Pikt estimates before you buy and what it later confirms you kept are always shown separately, never blended together. HOW IT WORKS Pikt reads the merchant and category on the checkout page you're already on and estimates which card from your wallet is likely to earn the most for that purchase, with an estimated dollar difference over the card you'd normally reach for. Issuers decide. You pay with your own card. Pikt never touches your money. When you click "Use this card," Pikt points at the card-number field so you can choose that card from Chrome's own saved-card suggestions. Pikt never types a card number and never reads one. CARD OFFERS AT CHECKOUT When a purchase may match a card offer you already track (or a commonly available offer for a card in your wallet), Pikt can show a soft alert beside the recommendation. For example, a reminder to turn on an offer in your issuer's app before you pay. These alerts never turn an offer on for you, never inject affiliate links or cookies into the merchant site, and never open an application for a new card at checkout. You can dismiss them anytime. CARD OFFERS IN SEARCH RESULTS When you search the web on Google, Pikt can flag the stores in your results where you have an offer: an offer you saved in Pikt, an unused card credit, or a commonly available offer for a card in your wallet (shown as a "possible" offer, never a promise). Each flag names the store, the offer, and the card, with a link to that store's result. This matching happens entirely on your device: Pikt downloads your own list of offers to the extension and compares it to the stores in the results. Your search terms and result titles stay on your device and are never sent to Pikt or anyone else; result links are never sent either. These flags never turn an offer on for you, never change the search page's links, and never add affiliate links or codes. Turn them off any time from the flag itself or from the popup's Settings. SPONSORED RECOMMENDATIONS Occasionally an issuer may pay to feature a card you already have in your wallet for a matching purchase category, only when that card ties your unpaid best earn for the purchase (same reward, or within Pikt's usual close-call band). When that happens, Pikt clearly labels the pick "Sponsored," explains the tie, and keeps the unpaid best card available under Switch card so you can choose either. A clear unpaid winner always stays the primary recommendation. Sponsored placements never introduce a card that is not already in your wallet, never fill payment fields, and never inject affiliate codes into the store's checkout URL. YOUR CARD NUMBER NEVER TOUCHES PIKT Pikt does not store card numbers, not on your device, not on our servers. Chrome's built-in saved cards (or your own typing) complete the payment form; Pikt only tells you which card wins. QUIET BY DESIGN Pikt appears in two places: on pages that look like a real checkout (a payment form and a place-order button), and on web-search results pages when a store in the results matches an offer you have. It stays off articles, feeds, and everyday browsing. Use Hide on this site to pause the panel until checkout, until your next visit, or until you turn it back on in Settings. Hide the search flags once and they stay off until you turn them back on. WHAT PIKT DOES NOT DO - Issue you a new card - Sit in the middle of your payment - Move money on your behalf - Charge a fee to install the extension - Store or transmit card numbers or security codes - Inject affiliate links, promo codes, or cookies into merchant pages - Turn issuer offers on for you, or apply for cards at checkout WHAT YOU NEED - A free Pikt account at trypikt.com - The cards you carry added to your Pikt wallet (about 30 seconds, no bank login required) - Chrome on desktop (Mac, Windows, or Linux) The extension is free to install. Pikt also offers optional paid plans on trypikt.com. Pikt is currently in beta, and new account signup requires a beta code. The service is available in the United States. PRIVACY Extension analytics and crash reporting are sent to www.trypikt.com and may be forwarded in redacted form to PostHog and Sentry. They contain no page content, card numbers, merchant names, transaction details, or direct account identifiers; they contain only limited event/error diagnostics. The extension stores your account link, preferences, and a cached copy of your own offer list on this device. Persistent site-hide preferences also sync with your Pikt account. To make a recommendation, Pikt sends the store name, purchase category, and order total to your own Pikt account. For search-results flags nothing about the search leaves your browser: the extension fetches your offer list from your account and matches it locally. Never card numbers, never security codes, never bank logins, never your browsing history. Related activity on the same purpose (recommendation shown / followed / dismissed, optional thumbs feedback, offer-alert views, and sponsored attribution events) is sent to www.trypikt.com to improve recommendations and measure placements. Pikt may forward redacted extension analytics to PostHog and redacted extension crash reports to Sentry. Extension analytics and crash reporting contain no page content, card numbers, merchant names, transaction details, or direct account identifiers; they contain only limited event/error diagnostics. Separately, if you turn on checkout history in Settings (off by default), the extension may also write the store name and order total from a checkout back to your account so later picks can use your own history, still never a card number. Sponsors receive aggregate metrics only, never your identity or browsing history. Full privacy policy: https://www.trypikt.com/privacy PERMISSIONS - Access to shopping sites: so Pikt can spot a checkout page wherever you shop, and recognise a web-search results page; it activates only when a checkout is detected or when a store in your search results matches one of your own offers - activeTab: so the toolbar popup, after you click the icon, can see which store that tab is on - storage: save your account link and preferences on this device - trypikt.com: talk to your own signed-in Pikt account for recommendations, offers (including your offer list for search-results flags), feedback, placement attribution, and (when you consent) optional checkout-history write-back
