WHAT'S NEW IN 1.2.5 - The amber "!" that appeared after updating to 1.2.4 now clears by itself the next time you open CloudPrompt, if the copy it kept is already in your library - New "Keep copy, hide warning" button in Settings → Backup & Restore: hide a warning without deleting the copy - Settings now shows which prompts are missing from your library or different there, and "Export these" restores just those - Import now asks before adding a different version of a prompt you already have, and never creates duplicates HOW IT WORKS 1. Install CloudPrompt and connect your Google Drive once, using secure Google sign-in (OAuth). 2. Save a prompt with a title, folder, and tags, or select text on any page and right-click "Save to CloudPrompt". 3. Press Ctrl+Shift+Y (Cmd+Shift+Y on Mac) on any page to search, copy, and paste a prompt. Microsoft Edge reserves this shortcut, so choose another there, such as Ctrl+Shift+X; CloudPrompt shows you how. 4. Prompts appear in context: on ChatGPT, your ChatGPT folder comes first. PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS, IN PLAIN ENGLISH - Identity and Google Drive API: used only to connect your Google Drive and read or write the CloudPrompt prompts file and its automatic backups. On browsers other than Chrome, sign-in uses a secure OAuth flow through cloudprompt.app. No tokens or credentials are stored on our servers. - Storage: keeps a local copy of your library, your preferences such as theme and view mode, and your storage usage. - Tabs: handles secure Google sign-in on non-Chrome browsers, and reads the active tab's address so context-aware sorting can show prompts for the AI site you're on. CloudPrompt does not monitor or track your browsing. - Context menus: powers the right-click "Save to CloudPrompt" option. It only runs when you choose it. - Host permissions: needed so the keyboard shortcut and right-click save work on any page.
