Finds video URLs on the current page and casts them to Chromecast.

PigeonCaster helps you watch web video on your TV using Google Cast. While you browse, it looks for playable video URLs associated with the current tab, lists them in one place, and lets you send the stream you choose to a Chromecast or other Cast-enabled receiver. You get simple playback controls in the extension so you can pause, seek, adjust volume, and stop without juggling multiple apps. If you often find a video in the browser but prefer the big screen, PigeonCaster saves time: you do not need to dig through developer tools to copy a long URL. For typical pages that load direct video streams, the extension can surface candidates as the page loads. It also includes tailored handling for Bilibili video pages so streams from common viewing flows are easier to resolve and pick. You can also start from a file on your computer. Use the local file option to pick a supported video, open it in the extension’s viewer tab when prompted, and cast using your normal Chrome Cast workflow, such as casting that tab to your TV, when URL-based casting is not what you want. Installation is quick. Install the extension from the store, confirm the browser prompt, and pin PigeonCaster to the toolbar so it is always one click away. Make sure your Cast device is powered on and on the same Wi-Fi as your computer. To use URL casting, open the site you want to watch and let the video begin loading. Click the PigeonCaster icon. Choose your Cast device, select a listed stream that matches what you want to watch, and start playback. Use the on-screen controls for transport and volume while the session is active. Please note that some sites rely on DRM, proprietary players, or encrypted delivery. Those streams may not appear or may not play on a Cast receiver. YouTube pages are not supported for automatic listing in this extension; use the official YouTube casting options where appropriate. Actual results depend on the stream format, your network quality, and your receiver’s capabilities.
