PicZeus
Overview
Compress folders locally in your browser. Keep image batches private and export the optimized ZIP.
PicZeus compresses image batches locally in your browser. Select individual images or an entire folder, choose a preset, preview before/after results, and export optimized files as a ZIP. What PicZeus does: - Compress images locally with no upload for selected local files. - Preserve folder structure when exporting batch ZIP files. - Show before/after previews, output size, and savings for each image. - Support WebP, JPEG, PNG, AVIF, and GIF input workflows where the browser can decode them. - Provide English and Simplified Chinese UI. - Include light, dark, and system theme options. PicZeus is useful for bloggers, builders, creators, and operators who need to prepare image folders before publishing, sharing, or archiving. The extension keeps the core workflow simple: add images, review the queue, compress, and download. Privacy note: local file compression happens in the browser. The current version does not include analytics, advertising trackers, account sign-in, payment collection, or remote logging. The right-click image action fetches the selected image URL only after the user explicitly chooses the PicZeus context-menu action.
