Overview
Pop any video out of the page. One click, works everywhere with HTML5 video.
Pop any video out of the page. One click on the toolbar icon, or press Alt+P. The video floats in its own window while you switch tabs, take notes, or read. Works on most sites that use a normal HTML5 video player. YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch, news sites, podcasts, lecture pages. No popup, no settings, no scan. The icon does one thing. **Features:** - One click toggles Picture in Picture on the largest visible video in the current tab. - Alt+P keyboard shortcut (rebind in chrome://extensions/shortcuts). - Small "PiP" badge shows when a video from this tab is floating. - Works inside iframes where Chrome's right-click menu does not appear. - If no video is found, you get a short message. No silent fails. **Permissions:** - `activeTab` - Read the active tab's videos only when you click the icon. - `scripting` - Run the toggle on the page you clicked from. - `storage` - Reserved for a future per-site preference. Not used today. - `notifications` - Show a one-line message when a site blocks Picture in Picture. **Known limitations:** DRM-locked players block Picture in Picture at the browser level. Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu will fail with "This site blocks Picture-in-Picture." That is a site choice, not a bug. Standard HTML5 video players work. No accounts. No cloud. No tracking. No outbound network calls of any kind.
