picolor
Overview
Pick any visible color from a webpage. Private, local, open source.
picolor is a small, fast color picker for the web. Click the toolbar icon, pick a color from the page, and copy it in the format you need. That's the whole extension — no dashboards, no sign-up, no upsell. WHAT IT DOES • Pick any visible color from the current page • Shows HEX, RGB and HSL, each with its own copy button • Large preview swatch with readable text on any color • Remembers your last color and preferred format, on your device • One click to clear the saved color • Light and dark themes, following your system • Fully keyboard accessible • Available in English, Arabic, German, Hebrew, Hindi, Russian, Spanish and Chinese PRIVACY picolor sends nothing anywhere. No analytics, no telemetry, no remote configuration, no external network requests of any kind. Your preferred format and last picked color are stored in local browser storage and never leave your device. There is no color history and nothing syncs. PERMISSIONS • storage — remember your format preference and last color • clipboardWrite — the copy buttons picolor requests no host permissions and cannot read your browsing history, cookies, or other tabs.
