PicMuffle is a lightweight, privacy-first Chrome extension that allows you to instantly block, blur, or replace unwanted or disturbing images on any webpage with a simple right-click. Tired of encountering spoiler graphics, disturbing photos, or intrusive ad thumbnails while browsing? With PicMuffle, you can take control of your visual browsing experience without breaking page layouts. Key Features: - 🛡️ One-Click Block & Unblock: Right-click any image (even beneath links or transparent overlays) to add it to your block list or remove it. - 🌫️ 3 Flexible Display Modes: 1. CSS Blur (Recommended): Applies a strong 25px blur with slight scaling and clipping to prevent color bleed. 2. Image Replacement: Locks dimensions to preserve page layout and swaps the image with a safe vector shield placeholder. 3. Complete Hiding: Visually hides the image (visibility: hidden) while maintaining page spacing. - 👁️ Temp Reveal: Right-click a blocked image and choose "Reveal temporarily" to peek at the original image until page reload. - ⏱️ Quick Pause & Resume: Temporarily pause blocking for 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes, or disable completely right from the toolbar icon. - ⏳ Realtime Countdown & Grayscale Icon: View the countdown timer in the popup.
