Vietnamese name: Phyllanthus amarus (Sawtooth Dog) Scientific name: Phyllanthus amarus English name: Gale of the wind or Stonebreaker Leaves: Feathered, growing symmetrically on both sides of the main axis. Leaves are small, thin, light green to dark green, about 1–2 cm long. At first glance, it is easy to mistake them for sensitive plant leaves (Mimosa pudica), but Phyllanthus amarus leaves do not fold when touched. Stem: Grows upright or slightly creeping, thin, light brown in color. Clusters of flowers or small fruits grow on the stem. Flowers: Very small, growing close to the trunk and branches. Light purple-pink as shown in the picture, small and round in shape.
