The theme is a CSS override layered on top of phpMyAdmin's own styles, so it coexists with any theme and updates gracefully. How it works: - A content script detects phpMyAdmin from the URL and DOM, and only then enables the dark theme. - All overrides are scoped to a single CSS class, so non-phpMyAdmin pages see zero visual change. - A palette of CSS variables at the top of the stylesheet makes it easy to re-skin (see the source repository).
