Photo Search Carousel turns image search results into a proper full-screen photo viewer. Normally, clicking a result in Google Images opens a small preview panel beside the grid, and the picture you see there is often a scaled-down thumbnail rather than the real thing. Photo Search Carousel replaces that with a dark theatre-mode overlay: the page dims, the original full-resolution image loads centred on your screen, and Chrome enters true fullscreen. From there you move through the entire set of results with the arrow keys, the way you would in a desktop photo viewer. HOW IT WORKS Google Images places only a small thumbnail in the page markup, while the address of the original image is embedded in the page's own inline data. The extension reads that data locally, inside your browser, to find the full-resolution source. If a website blocks hotlinking, the viewer quietly falls back to the thumbnail, so you are never left staring at a broken image. FEATURES - Theatre mode. A dimmed backdrop keeps the results page faintly visible behind the image, so you never lose your place in the grid. - True full resolution. Loads the original image instead of the thumbnail, and displays its real pixel dimensions. - Keyboard navigation. Left and Right arrows move between results, Esc closes the viewer. - Genuine fullscreen. Uses the entire display, with no browser chrome in the way. - Smart preloading. Upcoming images are fetched quietly in the background, so moving along the carousel feels instant instead of stuttering. - Source attribution. Every image shows a link to the page it came from, making it easy to credit or visit the original site. HOW TO USE IT Run an image search, click any result, and the viewer opens. Use the arrow keys or the on-screen arrows to browse, and press Esc or click the close button when you are done. There is nothing to configure and no account to create. PRIVACY No tracking, no analytics, no accounts, and no data collection of any kind. The extension stores nothing, and it makes no requests to any server of its own; the only images it loads are the ones you choose to view.
